Ridgewood Capital is a different kind of investment management firm. We are nimble and entrepreneurial in our thinking. We are conservative, flexible and believe in the personal touch. We strive to keep things simple and provide information that is straightforward and easy to understand.
Our firm traces its roots back to CT Investment Counsel, a subsidiary of Canada Trust and later, Mulvihill Capital Management. In 2008, John Simpson and Paul Meyer began Ridgewood Capital and were subsequently joined by five senior investment managers from Mulvihill. Today, we continue to manage the assets that we have built for our clients since we began.
We believe in a traditional investment approach focused on long-term success that has grown out of our signature strong client relationships. They take shape at our introductory meeting when we first sit down together to learn your story and understand your investment goals. By choice, we limit the number of our client relationships, so we can concentrate on delivering outstanding service and ensuring you get the level of personal attention that you require.
We are proud of what we have achieved in building Ridgewood Capital into a firm that stands for something different. Our core team is focused on achieving investment success for our clients from expertise, conservative growth and long-term capital protection that is built on strong, mutually rewarding client relationships. These progressively grow over time as we appreciate and realize your investment goals.
Ridgewood Capital currently holds more than $1.4 billion in assets under management for high net worth individuals, foundations, institutions and Indigenous clients.
